Hulu Desktop plus a mac remote

For those of you who don’t know what Hulu is, it’s essentially TV on demand, for free. Some of the major networks(not all of them, looking at you CBS) somehow banded together to put TV shows on the internet. We’ve been watching stuff on Hulu for a while, it’s better than regular TV because there’s way less commercials, you can choose what you watch, when you want, it’s kind of like tivo, but free. I’ve got a neat setup where I can hook my laptop up to the TV, bam, watching TV on the Computer, on the TV, but better.

This last weekend I came across a way to make it even better though. Hulu has a beta program out that streamlines it down to a standalone application, that works with my MacBooks Pro’s remote control. Now I don’t even have to get up to pause it or find another show to watch, laziness, because that’s the point of TV right?
