Music Video Time
My main online video intake these days has been focusing around watching music videos on Vimeo. If you hit on a good one it’s definitely worth the 2-6 minutes of your life.
I’ve been trying to keep track of the ones that have stood out to me lately, here’s what I’ve got:
Baths – Lovely Bloodflow
This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a while. I do have to admit, that the first time I watched I thought it was cool, bookmarked it and moved on. However, on re-watching a few more times since then both the music and the artistry of the video just got more and more awesome!
Dancing Pigeons – Ritalin
Ok, this one’s just cool, intriguing characters facing off with a flamethrower in slow-mo, just friggin’ cool.
Losers – Flush
The music is kind of cool, but I’m a sucker for old Victorian looking illustrations, add animations to that and I’m going to be intrigued.
The Hundred in the Hands – Pigeons
Something about this is very human. It’s that, just a bit of a twisted reality, but to me, that’s what makes it such a documentary of life.
Knuckles – Blake – What I like (Knuckles Insomniac Remix)
Let’s finish up with a bit of French dance music / subway relay race. Because really, why wouldn’t we?
