jadefaist.com – hey, that’s me
I’ve been working on my resume/portfolio a lot recently. When you’re a web designer (well, any kind of designer these days) it comes with the requirement of a personal portfolio website.
Without further adieu: jadefaist.com
It may not be a huge website, but that’s kind of the idea. I wanted a site that sells me, without too much extra. It’s essentially my resume in website form. And if you’re not all that interested in where I went to college, the real meat is in the sample works. I’m definitely a designer and programmer, so I tried to split my examples so that it tells as much of the story as possible, if you don’t know what the code blocks mean, that’s ok, go ahead and skip to the next image, I understand.
It’s definitely a first version (alpha / beta / y-wing / 0.1, whatever you want to call it) so there are things I’ll be improving on it, as well as adding new projects I complete. But if you have any comments I’d love to hear them, did it not work well? Not look very good? Not massage your shoulders? Let me know, you won’t hurt my feelings.

I’m working on that one, I think it’s going to take some pretty advanced JavaScript to make it do that without creating skynet.
