Ride Oregon

I came for the content, I stayed because of the design.

I don’t know, maybe it’s because there’s a pseudo bike enthusiast inside this web designer, but something about this site really made me go “wow, this is great”. It’s nothing amazingly inventive, but it’s well done, from both the general user and a designer standpoint. It flaunts integration of intuitive ajax interaction, customized google maps api, and clean typography integration (see still a web geek).

It’s part of the whole, “Oregon is great, be a tourist of an awesome state” shpeel. But also, if you’re part of the bike scene, consider this as one of your resources, or at least a cool reference for web design.
